I’ve got so many memories of you, Chris. Walking the dogs around the woods with our fellow dog walkers, and you humming the tune to ‘busy doing nothing, working the whole day through’ non stop. Drinking wine on our patio with you hugging Rufus and calling him Big Boy. Us munching away on bacon and egg sandwiches after you walked Rufus for me every day for about a week, when Kim was in France and I was waiting for my knee op. Us cobbling together your drinks cabinet and then the bridge over your fish pond. ‘ Not bad,’you said ‘for an ex mechanic and window cleaner’. 😏😃 And loads more good memories to numerous to mention. Missing you my friend. One of the best.
Bob.

Dear Chris, so wish that you hadn't had to leave us all so soon. In some ways we had only just got started on the final leg of life together (retirement). Our summer evenings spent sitting on the park bench with all of our lovely dogs milling around bringing smiles to our faces. Our trips to the zoo where we saw Rufus with his pajamas on ( or was it a tiger) 😀. Thank you my lovely friend for being there. For always saying yes with no hesitation when I asked a favour. And for claiming plenty of favours back.
Thank you for taking care of Rufus when we went away. I miss you, wish you were still here xxx

Dearest Chris
So many happy memories of times we spent together, most recently our camping trip to Suffolk in September.
I close my eyes and I can see you there, fishing in the sunshine with your beloved Harvey by your side ❤️
It makes me feel happy and sad all at the same time.
I feel so lucky to have spent some very precious moments with you in your final days, and that I was able to tell you just how much you were loved by us all.
You were like a brother to me, really annoying and irritating at times, but ultimately always there for me.
I shall miss you so much, but I promise to keep smiling, just as you’d want me to.
Love you forever, your Rosie xx
Rose
